We were deeply honoured to have been a part of a friend’s wedding celebrations towards the end of summer this year. Set in a beautiful venue on a gloriously warm day, it was a celebration to remember.

And as a guest, that meant outfit hunting! From past experience,I have to admit that it has never been a straightforward process finding a ‘wedding guest’ outfit as not only do you have to find the dress, you also have to ensure your choice of accessories complement everything else! The situation was no different on this occasion but when I came across the floral lace detail and the layered asymmetric cut of this dress, my search ended immediately.

There is a nice weight to the material and the texture adds that little bit of much needed interest to the outfit.

I’ve been feeling slightly under the weather this weekend, spending most of today either curled up on the sofa or wrapped up in a blanket in bed. Fingers crossed, tomorrow will be a better day. I hope you’re all staying healthy and fighting off all those nasty bugs that are going around at this time of the year!
