For those of you who know me, it’s no secret that I’ve been in a long-term relationship for a number of years now and a few days ago, we happily reached yet another milestone together. And for those of you who don’t know, I would like to introduce you all to my boyfriend, Lee 🙂
It should come to you as no surprise when I say that Lee has been the man behind the camera for all of my outfit shots to date and I wouldn’t choose to have it any other way (though he may have a different opinion on that, haha). As a self-proclaimed perfectionist, I may not always be the easiest person to work with but he’s always been so irrationally patient with me, so supportive with everything I do and as with any other couple, he’s always there for me when I need him, however busy he may be with his own commitments.
So, if you’ve read any of my previous blog posts where I have ambiguously used the term ‘we‘, you can safely assume, more often than not, I meant ‘Lee and I‘.
Typing Room, London
We celebrated this special occasion with a dinner date at Typing Room, London. We enjoyed some simple cocktails together with the fabulous five course tasting menu; each course was a unique blend of British ingredients and flavours that all unexpectedly complemented each other. Overall, a great experience and a great night! Here’s a photo grid of just some of the dishes we were served:
As for the outfit, I wore an off the shoulder striped blouse with a tie front, tucked into a high-waisted corset detail skirt. It’s a timeless combination of neutral colours and feminine shapes, undeniably appropriate for the occasion.
And finally, adding to the lace and bow details of the blouse and skirt, I finished the outfit with a pair of strappy heeled sandals, with the laces tied up into a bow on the back!
