Happy Monday everyone!

The plan for the weekend just gone was to prepare for my upcoming 5-night city break. Mostly holiday oriented, my list consisted of: pre-holiday shopping, finalising outfits for each day I’ll be away, compiling a full packing list, planning and photography for my next few blog posts and on top of all of that, a never-ending list of house chores.

Regrettably, the weekend flew by (no surprise here) and all I managed to tick off the list is the pre-holiday shopping. I suppose slow progress is better than no progress, right? – trying to comfort myself, haha.

Well, I’m staring at my to-do list but unfortunately for me, it isn’t going to tick itself off so before I attempt to tackle it with my full attention, I’d like to share with you a casual outfit post from the weekend when I was out shopping for holiday wear!

I’m wearing a loose-fitting gold t-shirt that I knotted at the hem, paired with my current favourite distressed jeggings. I tend to wear basic pieces for clothes shopping days; pieces that I can conveniently pull off and put back on in the, often cramped, changing rooms. The shoe choice for this outfit, TOMS, is no exception to this rule as I can slide in and out of them quickly and easily.

I hope you enjoy the remaining photos in this post. It was certainly one of the most enjoyable shoots I’ve done to date!
