I hope you’ve all had a pleasant start to the week 🙂
We’ve had beautiful weather over the past few days with an abundance of sunshine and much needed heat and along with that, the summer wardrobe finally saw some daylight!
Summer weather calls for lighter coloured pieces so I chose to wear a blue and white striped off-the-shoulder top with a white skort for a double date dinner last Saturday. This is the first skort I’ve ever owned and I’m obsessed with the ruffles and the fact that it has the fluidity of a skirt but the coverage of shorts. It’s a win-win situation!
On its own, this top can be pretty shapeless so I cinched it in at the waist with a skinny white belt to give the look a more streamlined silhouette.
Against the blue and white, I feel that the red accessories really transform the outfit and finishes it off nicely for a warm summer’s evening!
