Playing with Variety

You may have gathered from my previous blog posts that my current clothing store of choice is Zara. So far, I have rarely failed to incorporate at least one Zara item into my outfits and I have to admit that many of the items in their spring/summer collection are so on point that if I could, I would probably take half the shop home with me! So, in fear of filling up my entire wardrobe with Zara garments, I have had to refrain from entering any Zara stores while ‘physically’ shopping for the past two days and I am delighted to tell you, though with great difficulty, I succeeded. Trust me, it isn’t easy when there are multiple stores lining Oxford Street and Regents Street plus the shiny new store in Westfield London to tempt you!

Most likely, this stint of mine to avoid making any further Zara purchases won’t be lasting too long but while it does, I intend to give myself the chance to (re)discover new stores and brands which will, hopefully, allow me to inject some variety into some of the outfits I will be putting together. Exciting!

… However, for now, here’s another outfit with a top from Zara (sorry!) πŸ˜›

The material and the sleeve detail are identical to the dress I wore in my post,Β Friday Frills. The frilled sleeves add a touch of elegance to the shirt, which otherwise would have been a plain, structured shirt.

I chose to dress this down casually with black jeggings and comfy nude brogues, making it perfect for a long day of walking in town.
