It’s a Learning Curve

DSC_6868

It has been a goal of mine for the past few years to begin my blogging journey and ever since the beginning I have known that my personal style and fashion would be the main focus of the blog, so why did it take such a long time to get my first post up just a few weeks ago?

Well, being a personal fashion blog, I knew very well that I would have to make a little appearance in most, if not all, of the photos I share. The thought of this alone kept me turning back to square one as I am far from being the most confident person in front of a camera. Posing is not a strength of mine especially if I spot a stray pair of eyes looking in my direction while I’m at it! I’m not sure how I will ever overcome this fear, however, after many rounds of taking over 100 exposures and deleting all but one for one decent outfit photo, I can happily say that I feel a little less uncomfortable now. I am still miles away from comfort, a state that I may never reach, but it’s a step forward in the right direction and most importantly, I am learning and the enjoyment of the whole process keeps me going.
